THE NOTRE DAME OF JOLO HIGH SCHOOL REUN ION!
=========================+================
=
Towards last week of the month of August 2007, I received an e-mail from Mr. Jimmy Chong, the younger brother of Ms. Justina Chong who previously owned Joe's Store about the forth-coming reunion of Notre Dame of Jolo High School both from the Boys and the Girls Department.

I had that ambivalent feelings about the whole thing since my batch would be at least 50 years old. Apart from being able to grab a rare opportunity to re-establish contacts with old friends, I was also feeling a bit anxious knowing that most of my friends might be walking up on the pedestral and might not be interested at all to look back let alone reminisce the past.
=
As I was also scheduled to go to Perth, Australia for some business meeting, I thought I just let the opportunity pass me by and redirected the e-mail to another old classmate, Dr. Leonardo 'Nard' Wee, who is still stationed in Languyan, Tawi-tawi. In between e-mails and cellphone SMS, somehow rather the way Leonard responded made me feel guilty of not being pro-active in the whole affair.
=
Finally on the 28 of August, I managed to get into the Malaysian Airlines bound for Manila! On top of that, my Aussie client decided to join me in Manila, since she had never been here. Of course with me around she would feel safe.
=
Last Friday, I was bale to meet up with Ms. Mimi Conculada-Salasa for the first time in more that 30 years. I have always cherish her winsome smile with her long straight hair and curvaceous physique---one of those who belong to the first top 20 of the desirable dates among the senior girls. She still possesses those winsome smile with even more voluptuous body!
=
Yes, I signed-in for The Reunion and from the short meeting with MimiCon, I was able to list a few classmates. This coming Tuesday, I shall be flying to Jolo to meet a few of them.
=
Leonard should have Dr. Francis 'Chit' Cid's contact, who is practising Medicine in Cagayan de Oro City, while an old friend also has the contact of Ms. Tisa Tulawie, now residing in the same city as Francis.
=
For the meantime, I'm signing out! This blog is still in the process of construction. Please feel free to drop a line.
